Bridal Alterations
Your wedding is your special day, and you deserve to have your
bridal wear altered professionally with service you can trust.
Some standard alterations include:
Hemming (shortening the length of the gown)
bustling
strap shortening
sewing in bra cups
side seam take-in or let-out.
Replacing beads/ sewing trim
Complete or partial restyling
Re-sizing
Standard bridal alterations such as those listed above may cost from
$60-$250 for bridal gowns and $30-$95 for bridesmaids dresses.

Bridal Gown Cleaning & Pressing
We are pleased to offer pressing and cleaning services to all Jean’s Fashions
bridal customers. The prices for cleaning and/or pressing vary, but we will be glad to give you an
accurate price upon viewing your garment.

Clothing Alterations
A wide range of alterations can been performed to make garments fit perfectly, no need to accept how the clothing
manufacturers think we should be shaped.
At Jean’s Fashions we alter all types of garments including men’s wear as well as work on various types of materials
including: woolens, velvet, leather, satin, fine silks and beaded fabrics.
Some typical alterations include:
Hemming
Waist/hips - take in/ let out
Replace zippers/ replace elastic
Restyling
Side seams - take in/ let out
Patches/ fixing ripped seams
Replace/ strengthen buttons, domes, clasps and Velcro
Most alterations require 3 - 7 days to complete most however we work according to your schedule and we will
complete a garment in a shorter time period if needed. Same day service is also available for a nominal fee.
Clothing Repairs
The repair service we provide covers a wide variety of areas and often allows a garment that seems to have been
damaged or faulted beyond repair to be economically and efficiently repaired and therefore reinstate the value of
the garment.
Garment Remodeling
As fashions and styles change and garments that were last seasons HOT numbers are relegated to the What's Not
side of the wardrobe - do not despair. More often than not the garments and outfits in question can be remodeled to
stay up to date and look as if they were purchased only yesterday.
The most common remodeling is performed on jackets and the classic revamp would be taking an older boxy style
jacket and making it a stylish more tailored style of jacket. Another common remodeling involves skirts and/or
dresses, by changing the lengths and fine-tuning the shaping the look of the garment can be remodeled for
dramatic results.
